Held March 19-20, 2008
Ohio School Facilities Commission (OSFC) recently announced the Green School’s guidelines that require at least LEED Silver rating for all OSFC funded projects. These high performance schools will integrate daylighting, indoor air quality and energy efficiency to run efficiently, save money, protect natural resources and provide superior visual, acoustical, and thermal comfort.

The Ohio Green Schools Summit, held March 19-20, explored the implementation of Ohio’s newly adopted LEED standards for school facilities design. Two days of seminars conducted by national experts provided an exciting new opportunity to participate in and provide a safe, quality and inspiring environment for Ohio’s children!

CGBF meetings are held quarterly as brown bag lunch programs with presentations on sustainable design.
